Private First Class Godfrey Wellington was the most celebrated member of the 4th aviation communication regiment of WWI. He won the purple pigeon heart for bravery and the dickin medal for gallantry by delivering a document to one Winston Churchill in 1918 that resulted in an end to the violence.
